AMPLET version 0.09.26:

This is the second **BETA TEST** version of the amplet code.  We
beleive this relase is getting close to our first full release.  It's
has a fair bit of testing in our environments, including passing all
the self-tests on Debian woodie and sarge, FreeBSD 4.7, 4.9, 4.11 and 5.4,
fedora FC3 and FC4 and SunOS 5.9.

While we're very keen to have people use this release it is not yet a
finished product.  In particular:

   1. The documentation is not complete
   2. It has not been tested to our satisfaction
   3. It is highly probably that there will be a new release in the
      near future.
   4. IPv6 support is not complete, in particular we know that data
      transfer between the clients and the server(s) won't work in a
      mixed IPv4 and IPv6 environemt.  IPv6 support hasn't been as
      fully testsed as we'd like
   5. IPMP information exchange is not complete
   6. Data transfer between machines of different word size and byte
      order won't work (this is fixed in out development release but
      probably won't make it into our first production release unless
      someone says they need it).

You'll find install and setup instructions in the doc directory.
